The Marc de Champagne RÉMY COINTREAU is a brandy of Appellation d’Origine Réglementée (A.O.R.).

The marc is the set of residues resulting from the pressing of the residues (skins, stalks and seeds) of grapes giving a juice which will ferment before distillation. These  estemmed grapes come exclusively from the vineyards of Champagne whose grape varieties are Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay.

MARC DE CHAMPAGNE brandy is obtained by fermentation and slow distillation in stills at Colonne and then put in oak barrels for 2 to 5 years.

At the tasting, the Marc de Champagne exhales complex aromatic notes, a characteristic vinosity, a typical aromatic power.
