The importance of alcohol content…

Did you know that aromatic strength and alcohol content are closely linked? In fact, the higher the alcohol content of a spirit, the more intense and present its aromas will be. Alcohol is merely a medium that releases and intensifies the aromas.

Thus, a Cointreau 60%, specially adapted for culinary use, will offer a richer, more complex aromatic palette than a Cointreau 40%, reserved for the general public. Notes of sweet and bitter orange will be more pronounced, adding depth and complexity to your creations.

  • The right dosage: Always respect the quantities indicated in our recipes.
  • The right temperature: Never add spirits to hot preparations at temperatures above 40°C. Above this temperature, they will be unable to express their full flavour.
  • The right texture: In chocolate and ice cream making, the right dosage plays an essential technical role in improving texture and suppleness.
  • Natural preservatives: Using our brands also ensures greater stability of your preparations over time.
