LUNEURS, ambassador of French expertise in China
LUNEURS is much more than just a French patisserie and ice cream parlor: it is a gourmet establishment that embodies the French way of life. True to its values, it makes it a point of honor to select quality ingredients and promote artisanal expertise, favoring ingredients sourced from the French terroir. Fresh and handmade every day, its gourmet creations celebrate craftsmanship and passion, to the delight of all epicureans.
Founded in Shanghai in 2018, LUNEURS has successfully established itself and now has twelve stores in China, true ambassadors of French gastronomy abroad. And the adventure continues: new openings are planned for the near future, including one in Hong Kong, marking an important step in its international expansion.
This summer, LUNEURS also caused a stir in the French capital by organizing a pop-up store in Paris for three months. This was a unique opportunity for Parisians and visitors to discover or rediscover its creations in a temporary and festive setting, which appealed to sweet lovers and further strengthened its brand image.
LUNEURS, exceptional ice cream
LUNEURS is renowned for its ice cream that is “much more than French.” Made entirely by hand using premium cream, it seduces with its fine, creamy texture, rich aroma, and long-lasting flavor. Its signature flavor—salted butter caramel speculoos ice cream—is considered “the crème de la crème of Shanghai ice creams” and deserves to be savored with relish.
Created by pastry chef Anne Catherine, this ice cream combines a traditional recipe from her native region with modern techniques, revealing a unique flavor profile. It features generous chunks of speculoos and a caramel and sea salt coulis. From the very first bite, you’ll discover all the subtlety and richness worthy of the finest French desserts.
True to its “Gram Of Joy” philosophy, LUNEURS aspires to offer its customers an authentic and joyful experience of French gastronomy, combining delicious food and a friendly atmosphere.
LUNEURS & COINTREAU CO-BRANDING
This month, LUNEURS is combining its expertise with that of COINTREAU to unveil several original recipes, created especially by MOF ice cream maker and World Pastry Champion Emmanuel Ryon, who is also the founder of the famous Une Glace à Paris boutique.
On the menu for this refined collaboration:
- sesame ice cream subtly enhanced with Cointreau,
- a sorbet that is both lively and tangy: orange-ginger with Cointreau,
- intense and comforting hot chocolate with Cointreau,
- and mulled wine with cinnamon and Cointreau, in the tradition of French holiday celebrations.
To celebrate this exclusive collaboration, all 12 LUNEURS stores will be decked out in Cointreau colors for a month. Come and experience the warm and sparkling atmosphere for yourself!
