CACAO BARRY, a French chocolate brand

Cacao Barry is a French brand specializing in chocolate and cocoa products, founded in 1842 by Charles Barry. It is renowned for its commitment to taste excellence and the creativity of pastry chefs. Since its merger with Belgian chocolatier Callebaut in 1996, it has been part of the Swiss Barry Callebaut Group.

The company focuses on sustainable development, with 100% responsible sourcing of cocoa beans. It offers a wide range of chocolates and ingredients adapted to the needs of professionals. Cacao Barry also supports innovation with initiatives such as the Chocolate Academy and the World Chocolate Masters competition.

Choc’tail: an unique tasting experience!

Chocolate and cocktail: a daring alliance for a unique sensory experience! CACAO BARRY and REMY COINTREAU GASTRONOMIE came up with this original idea for the prestigious RELAIS DESSERTS conference. Under the expert guidance of chef Aurélien Trottier, an elegant chocolate glass was created. Among the treasures of the CACAO BARRY range, his choice fell on Matsiro 70%, a chocolate with subtle notes of red fruit, citrus zest and floral touches, offering a perfect marriage with the Berry Cosmos cocktail. The latter reveals all its complexity through aromas of Cointreau, lemon, cranberry and hibiscus.

For a refined tasting experience, the principle is simple: the cocktail, presented in a 20 cl mignonette, is delicately poured into the chocolate glass, leaving the taster to savor at his or her own pace this harmonious encounter between chocolate and mixology. A real invitation to awaken the senses!
