The result of a merger between NAPPI and COINTREAU

Founded in 1911, Nappi is an Italian company specializing in the production of dried fruits, candied fruits, fruits in syrup and jams. For 4 generations, the company has been developing and diversifying its production, which today includes over 2,000 references, marketed in nearly 87 countries for food professionals. Amarenas Nappi, Italian cherries, are one of the company’s specialties.

Cointreau‘s aromatic notes of sweet and bitter orange peel enhance the strong, intense flavour of Amarena Nappi, adding freshness. An unique experience in the mouth!

A new ingredient for gastronomy

Cointreau Amarenas are ideal for pastries, confectionery and ice cream, and can also be eaten plain. These candied black cherries, bathed in a liqueur subtly flavored with Cointreau, add an intense and original touch to your creations. Their unique flavour, blending sweetness and bitterness, goes perfectly with chocolate bases, light creams or even iced preparations. Add them to your preparations for an explosion of flavour and elegant presentation.

New chef recipes to inspire you

Talented pastry chef David Wesmael, Meilleur Ouvrier de France glacier 2004 and World Pastry Champion 2006, has come up with two recipes: a frosted Amarena made with a sorbet and a compote of Cointreau Amarena in the heart of Matcha chocolate, and a revisited version of the great French pastry classic, Opéra, to which Cointreau Amarena add intensity and originality.

Luigi Biasetto, Italian master pastry chef and World Pastry Champion 1997, offers a version of his famous panettone with Cointreau Amarenas. A light, fragrant, gourmet recipe in which cherries are sublimated!

We’re delighted to share these new recipes on our website!
